Stabilize tundish’s temperature with our refractories
Our mixes for tundish safety and working linings are suitable for casting under vibration, gunning and dry setting.
A stable temperature is essential at this stage of production. Constant wear of the coating due to the continuous flow of hot steel may cause frequent and costly reworking of the tundish.
TUNDISH LININGS
SAFETY: Stainless steel added, castable mixes for tundish safety lining. These mixes are suitable for casting under vibration with low water content.
WORKING: SID-TUN Wet Gunning products combine the technical qualities of a cast material with a gunning installation method.
SID-TUN DRY: Refractory materials can be installed in powder form without addition of water or liquid chemical binders directly onto a heat source, reducing the need of energy required for drying the wet products.
FLOW CONTROL
Sidertrading is specialized in the supply of castable mixes for tundish safety lining.
The use of products tested and supplied by Sidertrading guarantees a longer life and safety of the tundish as well as reduced energy costs required for drying the wet products.
